Organization helps mother with home renovation

LAWRENCEVILLE - The C3 Center, a nonprofit organization based in Lawrenceville, helped a single mother with a home renovation.

The renovations took place over two weekends and included cleaning, replacing and repairing siding, painting, installing fencing and a new garage door and other similar enhancements.

The C3 Center selected Dacula resident and mother Rhythm Bell for its most recent renovation project. Bell purchased a home last year to provide stability for her two children and the home was in need of refurbishing. Selection criteria were financial responsibility, work ethic, community involvement and attendance in its Solo Moms Acquiring Readiness Training program. The program’s monthly seminars focus on life skills and self-reliance training.

The C3 Center Home Makeover project is sponsored by the C3 Center with the help of Advanced Surveying Inc., Bostic Contracting, Keith Dudley Windows Inc., Site Creations, Inc., Home Elements LLC, Newview Enterprises, Inc., Future Pest Control, David Zorger, Roger Greene Fencing and Accurate Plumbing Services.
